We live in a world where drive-thru fast food places and dollar menu meals out number farmer’s markets and grocery stores. Eating healthy can be a challenge, and even when you do make up your mind to pass up deep fried temptations, too often you nearly have a heart attack (figuratively speaking of course), on the check out line when you see your bill.

Trust me; I know because I’ve been the person in shock at check out. Healthy food choices shouldn’t kill your budget. Thankfully I have discovered Thrive Market, an online market place that combats this trend.

Thrive Market doesn’t just offer healthy food products; it offers beauty, bath and body, health, babies and kids, home, and pet products. There is something for everyone who wants to purchase healthier products at a discounted price. At Thrive, I found a well put together mix of products to choose from: organic, non-GMO, vegan, raw, paleo and gluten free. However you like to shop, you can find exactly what you’re looking for.

The company’s merchandising team works directly with brands to purchase natural, healthy foods and products at wholesale prices. These prices are typically 25 to 50 percent lower than what the same products sell for in brick and mortar stores, and even traditional online retailers. I have found some great deals like this Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar.

Thrive Market offers a few ways to receive support; you can notify them by phone, within 7 days of receiving your order, or you can email them, and they are willing to help. Thrive also has a Frequently Asked Questions section for members to access.

Final Thoughts

Unlike other big box retailers, Thrive Market offers many of the premier natural food brands, health and beauty products, and home products that you would find at a health food store or supermarket, in every day sizes, at wholesale prices, delivered conveniently to your doorstep with free national shipping.

Although Thrive Market guarantees discounted prices, I recommend that you know the prices in your local markets. I found a few items to be higher priced than the same items in my local market.

The products offered on Thrive Market aren’t sub par or knockoff brands, either — I found many of the same brands I shop for at the natural foods store and market in my neighborhood.

If you enjoy the convenience of having discounted quality products delivered right to your door, I recommend that you check out the Thrive Market websiteYou’ll be amazed at how quickly the savings add up — I know I was!

  1. I am a satisfied customer of Thrive Market for about two years now, I save way more than the membership fee every year on my purchases. if you purchase regularly organic products Thrive Market is right for you, if you only purchase organic products once in a while Thrive markets is still a good deal you just want save as much money. Even if you purchase one product monthly for 20.00, you will save in the long run so give Thrive Market a try for 30 days and if you don’t wish to become a member just cancel your memberships with no questions asked.

    1. Hi Jeffrey,

Thanks for the feedback on Thrive Market. It’s always nice to hear from other satisfied customers. What is your favorite product from Thrive? If you don’t have a favorite, can you recommend a product to my readers?

      Thanks for stopping by!

  2. your article intrigued me so much that I had to go and check it out for myself. One of the things I was interested in was finding out where they were out of and if they shipped to my area. when I found that they do ship to the 48 continental states I was pleased.
I think that I will be checking them out even more with what they offer and their prices since they are in California and I am in Florida I want to research their price and the prices here. I have gone through check out shock myself when I try to shop healthy so it is time to compare prices. thanks for you recommendation.

    1. Hi Christine,

I do recommend that you know your prices in your market. Sometimes an item can come in a little more expensive at Thrive Market. One thing I didn’t mention in my article was how pleased I was with my package when it arrived. Everything was neatly packed; the breakable items were double wrapped with a corrugated heavy weight wrapping paper to help prevent breakage. I am happy to report nothing was broken. I also ordered cereal, which is packaged in a bag instead of a box, and it came in with very little broken cereal.

      Thanks for stopping by,

  3. Hey Kathy,
My wife and I live for our local farmers markets. In fact, this is our primary supermarket and we hit the grocery stores only for items that cannot be found at the farmers markets.

However, sometimes due to the time of year (like now) or for one reason or another, we don’t always have access to the market every weekend. Thrive seems like a great opportunity to have consistent access to healthy food.

I was curious, though. Do they have distribution centers throughout the country or is it all shipped from a few locations?

    Best Regards,

    1. Hi Jim,

I apologize for my delay in getting back to you. You asked a question I didn’t know the answer to; however, I contacted Thrive’s customer service department to find an answer. I was pleasantly surprised they got back to me within 24 hours. To answer your question, Thrive has distribution centers in Batesville, California and Reno, California.

My husband and I primarily shop at farmer’s markets too. We love to support our local farmers and businesses. Sadly, the one health food store we had in town has closed. That is why I’m glad I discovered Thrive.

      Thanks for stopping by!

  4. Thrive sounds like a great way to get fresh healthy food delivered to your door.

I suppose for a lot of people this would be great! I think that the yearly membership is a fair price, but I can see many people hesitating to commit to one online grocer like that.

People like options and paying that yearly membership kind of commits you to buy from the site. Not something I’m a fan of.

    Thanks for the information anyway!

    1. Yes, I can see your point. People do like options; I like options. However, in my area, I can’t always find what I need at my local health food store or market. Thrive presents as a nice solution. And I agree. Thrive Market wouldn’t be for everyone. Thanks for stopping by.
