This is an easy to make alternative to store bought Hoisin sauce. Best used with chicken, pork, and beef dishes.
- 4 tbs coconut aminos
- 4 tbs creamy peanut butter
- 2 tbs molasses
- 4 tbs rice vinegar
- 2 clove garlic
- 4 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tsp hot sauce preferably Chinese hot sauce; use more or less to taste
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 tbs water
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Use in your favorite Chinese food recipe.
Amino acids work just as well as coconut aminos.
