Ingredients

  • 2 large carrots, scrubbed but not peeled
  • 1 cup frozen orange chunks
  • 1 cup frozen banana slices
  • 1 cup low fat cottage cheese
  • 1 Tbs raw honey optional
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp cloves
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 5-6 ice cubes add more or less to reach your desired consistency

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.

Recipe Notes

The recipe includes a tablespoon of raw honey or sweetener of your choice. This is totally optional. Personally, I don't add the sweetener because I think it is sweet enough. I find the banana to add just the right amount of sweetness.
